The Challenge aims at supporting scientists, research institutions and start-ups from the EMEA region to come up with disruptive ideas, and hypotheses and to potentially participate in the process of incubating new business entities based on game-changing scientific outcomes. Furthermore, the Challenge aims at fostering new partnerships and strengthening collaboration in research and knowledge sharing between industry and academia, thus facilitating the path from scientific discovery to commercialization.
What's in it for you?
THE PELLA CHALLENGE οffers both quantitative and qualitative awards
Focus on new / alternative to ferromagnetic material ideally non-metallic, which should be biodegradable or compostable or at least with an improved impact on the environment.
The focus is on the estimation of the biological/chronological age of a person on-the-go. The solution should work seamlessly and be miniaturizable. The technology could be based on Optical, Sensory, Acoustic, Biomarkers, Motion etc.
Any kind of technological means to detect and classify the disposable piece under high temperature. The system should be miniaturizable. A disposable part of the system if any should be low cost.
